Weibin District, belonging to Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the western part of Guanzhong, at the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains, spanning the north and south banks of the Wei River. It borders Chencang District in the east and west, Taibai County and Feng County in the south, and Jintai District in the north, with a total area of 842 square kilometers. As of the end of 2022, Weibin District resident population of 540,600 people. Weibin is also the shore of the Wei River. Area in the south of the Wei River, formerly known as Shennong District, is the ancient leader of Yan Di Shennong's hometown, the birthplace of the Chinese nation. According to legend, Yandi Shennong was born in Meng Yu Gou, grew up in Wayu Temple, bathed in Jiulongquan, and died in Tiantai Mountain. Yandi's mausoleum is located in Weibin District on Changyang Mountain, is the main place for Yan Huang children to find their roots and worship their ancestors. In 2022, Weibin District will realize a GDP of 63.2 billion yuan, of which: the added value of the primary industry will be 580 million yuan, the added value of the secondary industry will be 37.29 billion yuan, and the added value of the tertiary industry (service industry) will be 25.33 billion yuan. The ratio of the three industries is 0.9:59:40.1.
