Qingyunpu District, belonging to Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, Qingyunpu District is located in the southern part of Nanchang City, located in the hinterland of Ganfu Plain, bordering with Qingshan Lake District, Nanchang County and Xihu District, with an area of 43.2 square kilometers, with the jurisdiction of 5 streets (i.e., Sandian, Hongdu, Xufang, Jingshan and Daishan streets), 1 town (Qingyunpu Town), 1 provincial-level industrial park (Changnan Industrial Park), and 1 Badaoshanren Meihu Scenic Area, with a total of 73 communities and 12 administrative villages.At the end of 2022, the resident population of Qingyunpu District was 360,300 people.
Qingyunpu District is named after the Qingyunpu Taoist Temple in the district, which has historical and cultural resources such as the Bada Shanren Memorial Hall, Chen Yun's former residence, Mei Ruyi's former residence, and the Tiezhu Manshou Palace, etc. The Chengnan Lantern Ceremony and Sampan Wangmiao Dragon Boat Race are included in the list of Jiangxi Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage. The district is rich in river and water resources, with Xianghu Lake, Meihu Lake, Climax Lake, Fuhe River, Yudai River, and Moat intertwined and surrounded. The green coverage rate of the district has reached 34.51%, and the area of public green space per capita has reached 9.68 square meters.
In 2022, Qingyunpu District realizes a GDP of 44.337 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1% over 2021 at comparable prices.
