Ji'an County, belonging to Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the central part of Jiangxi Province, the center of Jitai Basin, and the middle reaches of Ganjiang River Basin, neighboring Xiajiang County, Jishui County, Jizhou District, and Qingyuan District in the east, bordering Taihe County in the south, adjoining Yongxin and Anfu Counties in the west, and bordering with Yushui and Fenyi Counties in Xinyu City in the north. Ji'an County has a total area of 2,117 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 2 streets, 13 towns, 6 townships.At the end of 2022, the registered population of Ji'an County (excluding Jingkai District) was 508,400 people. Ji'an County is an old revolutionary area in China, known as "General County". In 2022, Ji'an County realized a gross regional product of 26.348 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 5.4% at comparable prices.
