The Tireless District, belongs to Yichang City, Hubei Province. Bordering the Yangtze River, it is the first alluvial plain after the Yangtze River exits the Three Gorges, with an area of 118.52 square kilometers. As of the end of 2022, the permanent population of Tailing District was 69,000 people. The name of the area is derived from the Western Han Dynasty, the tiger's roar is "猇", and there is one pavilion in ten miles, so it is called "猇亭" (猇亭). Anciently known as "Chu's Western Seaside", it has always been a place of war, and the famous "Battle of the Tartarus" in the Three Kingdoms period took place here. In 2022, the GDP of Tailing District will be 19.856 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7% from 2021 at constant prices.
