Yindu District, part of Anyang City, Henan Province, is located in northwestern Anyang City, bounded by the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway in the east, bordering Beiguan District and Wenfeng District, and connected to Long'an District in the south. The district covers a maximum distance of 10.3 kilometers from east to west and 8.5 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 687 square kilometers.In 2019, Yindu District had a total population of 715,200, with a resident population of 684,900. As of June 2020, Yindu District has nine streets and one township under its jurisdiction, with the district people's government stationed at No. 96 Meidong Road. In 1955, it belonged to the fifth district of Anyang County, and in 1969, it was established as Xijiao Commune of Anyang City, and in 1972, Tiexi District was established, and in 2002, Tiexi District was abolished and Yindu District was established. Located at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains, the terrain is high in the west and decreases gently to the east, with a continental monsoon climate in the northern warm temperate zone. In 2020, the GDP of Yindu District will be 32.85 billion yuan, up 2.6% year-on-year; the general public budget revenue will be 2.082 billion yuan, up 1.54% year-on-year.
