Qimen County, belonging to Huangshan City, Anhui Province. Located in the western foothills of the Huangshan Mountains, northeast and Yixian County, Huangshan City, Huangshan City, southeast and Xiuning County, Huangshan City, neighboring, northwest of Chizhou City, Shitai County, Dongzhi County, southwest of the province to the border, and Jiangxi Province. The total area is 2,257 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Qimen County has 10 towns and 8 townships under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2022, Qimen County had a total population of 183,548,000 people.
Qimen County is the southern gate of Anhui Province, belonging to the ancient Huizhou "six counties," founded in Tang Yongtai two years (766). Because of the city northeast of Qishan, southwest of the gate of heaven and named, is "nine mountains and a half water and a half of the field" of the mountainous counties. Qimen tea production has a long history, as early as the Tang Dynasty, there is a very prosperous tea market, is the "hometown of Chinese black tea".
