Foreign direct investment flows to emerging economies like China proved to be much more resilient than flows to developed countries, recording their second highest level – even though they declined slightly (by 4%) to $703 billion in 2012. Developing nations accounted for a record 52% of global capital flows from corporations, exceeding flows to developed ones for the first time ever by $142 billion. Here are the top 10 countries who are on the receiving end of corporate investment, according got the 2013 World Investment Report by UNCTAD.
