Park Overview
The Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as “Guangyuan ETDZ”) is located in the western part of Guangyuan City. It administers 1 town, 3 subdistricts, and 33 villages (communities), with a directly managed area of 112 square kilometers and a total population of over 110,000.
Established in 1992, the Guangyuan ETDZ was upgraded to a national-level economic and technological development zone in December 2012.It has successively been recognized as the “China Green Aluminum Capital,” a “National High-Tech Industrialization Base for Advanced Electronic Products and Supporting Materials,” a “National Industrialization Demonstration Base for New Industrialization (Military-Civilian Integration),” a “National Demonstration Park for Circular Economy Transformation,” a “National Green Industrial Park,” a “Sichuan Provincial Intellectual Property Pilot Park,” a “Sichuan Provincial (Guangyuan) Military-Civilian Integration High-Tech Industrialization Base,” a “National Demonstration Zone for the Creation of Well-Known Brands of High-Performance Industrial Aluminum Profiles,” and a “National Industrialization Experimental Base for Aluminum and Magnesium Electrolysis Equipment.”
In recent years, the Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone has earnestly implemented the Municipal Party Committee’s “1345” development strategy, firmly adhering to its development positioning as a “growth pole for municipal development and the main stronghold of the industrial economy” and its development goals of becoming a “100-billion-yuan industrial park and a demonstration zone for industry-city integration.” It has consistently pursued the principles of “industry driving urban development, urban development supporting industry, and industry-city integration,” optimizing the construction of a “1+3+1” industrial system,It has focused on the “three key priorities” of industrial development, project investment, and investment promotion, and has thoroughly implemented the “five major plans” for the transformation of the aluminum industry, capacity expansion in the food and beverage sector, upgrading of the electronics and machinery sector, clustering of the biopharmaceutical industry, and doubling of emerging industries, thereby accelerating the construction of a demonstration zone for industry-city integration.
