Yuquan District, under the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hohhot City. It is located in the central part of Hohhot, adjacent to Saihan District in the east, bordering with Tumet Left Banner in the south and west, and adjoining Huimin District in the north, with a total area of 260 square kilometers. As of June 2023, Yuchuan District has 8 streets and 1 town under its jurisdiction. As of November 2020, Yuchuan District has a resident population of 524,573 people. There are a total of 41 ethnic minorities, including Mongolian, Hui, and Manchu.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the Guihua City Hall was changed to Guihua County; in the second year of the Republic of China, Suiyuan City was incorporated and renamed Guisui County. In June 1951, Yuquan District was part of the third district and part of the second district.
In 2023, the annual GDP of Yuquan District increased by 9.2% year-on-year.
