This provincial-level economic development zone, located in Heping Subdistrict, Bozhou District, Zunyi City, has a planned area of approximately 25 square kilometers and serves as a key industrial hub within the Zunyi Metropolitan Area. Its leading industries include equipment manufacturing, new materials, biopharmaceuticals, and modern logistics.
The zone prioritizes the development of industries such as new energy vehicle components, smart equipment, and new building materials, and is home to enterprises including Guizhou Steel Rope, Zunyi Titanium Industry, and the Heping Pharmaceutical Industrial Park. In 2024, it achieved a total industrial output value of over 18 billion yuan, with 55 enterprises meeting the scale criteria.
The area enjoys convenient transportation, being adjacent to the Lanhai Expressway and the Chongqing–Guiyang Railway, a 15-minute drive from Zunyi South Station, and within a 90-minute high-speed rail commute of Guiyang. The industrial layout is driven by a dual-engine strategy of “equipment manufacturing + pharmaceuticals and healthcare,” with the development of pilot production platforms and logistics and warehousing centers within specialized industrial parks.
In terms of facility space, 900,000 square meters of standardized factory buildings have been completed, equipped with a sewage treatment plant, centralized heating, and hazardous chemical warehouses. Supporting services include an enterprise service center, talent apartments, and a vocational skills training base.
