A National-Level Economic and Technological Development Zone, it was upgraded to national-level status in 2012 with the approval of the State Council. Located in Huichuan District, Zunyi City, the zone has a planned area of 65 square kilometers. The zone focuses on developing industries such as equipment manufacturing, new materials, electronic information, and supporting industries for baijiu production, with the goal of establishing itself as the “Advanced Manufacturing Center of Northern Guizhou.” It is home to leading enterprises including Aerospace Precision Engineering, Guizhou Steel Rope, Zunyi Cigarette Factory, and Haier Smart Valley Industrial Park.The park enjoys convenient transportation links via the Lanhai Expressway and the Chongqing-Guizhou Railway, which serves Zunyi Station.By 2025, the park aims to achieve a total industrial output value exceeding 128 billion yuan, with the equipment manufacturing industry cluster surpassing 51 billion yuan and the new materials industry reaching 32 billion yuan. The park is a National Demonstration Base for New Industrialization and a designated industrial cooperation zone within the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. It is equipped with supporting facilities such as the Zunyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone, talent apartments, a Grade A tertiary hospital, and technology business incubators.
