The Shanwei High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is a provincial-level high-tech industrial development zone established in July 2014 with the approval of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province. It comprises the Xinli Industrial Park, Xinhu Industrial Park,Pubian Industrial Park, and Hongcao Industrial Park. With a total planned area of 11.75 square kilometers, the zone implements current provincial-level high-tech zone policies. It integrates the functions of a provincial-level high-tech industrial development zone, a provincial-level industrial relocation zone, a provincial-level circular economy industrial development zone, and an industrial park jointly developed with Guangming District, Shenzhen. The zone focuses on developing emerging industries such as high-end electronic information, new energy and new materials, machinery and equipment manufacturing, and modern services.Since the commencement of construction, the park has prioritized infrastructure development, investment promotion, and project implementation, successfully attracting leading enterprises such as Xinli International and BYD.
