The Maoming Airport Economic Zone is located in Maoming City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport. Leveraging its strategic location, the zone is committed to becoming a key platform for facilitating trade with the Hainan Free Trade Port and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Industrial Focus: The economic zone prioritizes the development of airport-related industries, airport-based warehousing and logistics, warehouse finance, and cross-border e-commerce.At the same time, leveraging Western Guangdong and oriented toward the RCEP, the zone serves the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration, aiming to build a modern commerce and logistics hub and a national-level cross-border e-commerce base.

Development Plan: The Maoming Aerotropolis Economic Zone has a planned total area of approximately 150 square kilometers and is Maoming City’s fourth-largest development platform. The preliminary plan aims to utilize its geographical advantages to establish it as a significant economic region.

Industrial Cluster Zone: The planned area of the industrial cluster zone within the economic zone is 7,230 mu (approximately 482 hectares), and it benefits from provincial industrial relocation policies. Phases I and II of development and construction have been largely completed, while planning for Phases III and IV is currently underway.

Strategic Cooperation: The Maoming Aerotropolis Economic Zone has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Management Committee of the Daxing Airport Aerotropolis. The two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in areas such as establishing “air express routes,” setting up product exhibition centers, and forming industrial alliances.
