The Fujian Longhai Economic Development Zone is located in Fugong Town and Gangwei Town, Longhai City, Zhangzhou, and comprises two industrial clusters.The western industrial cluster belongs to Fugong Town and is situated in the southeast corner of Fugong’s urban center, covering an area of 6.20 square kilometers. The eastern industrial cluster belongs to Gangwei Town (with a portion of the western section falling within Gangwei’s jurisdiction) and is situated in the northwest corner of Gangwei’s urban center, covering an area of 5.28 square kilometers (including 0.36 square kilometers in Fugong). The total planned area is 11.48 square kilometers.
The Fugong area focuses on the development of agricultural and food processing, general equipment manufacturing, modern logistics, and emerging industries; the Gangwei area is divided into two industrial clusters: the automotive manufacturing cluster and the equipment manufacturing cluster.
