Park Overview
The Fujian Longzhou Industrial Park is a provincial-level industrial park located in the “northern wing” of the central city of Longyan. With a planned total area of 4.8 square kilometers, it has initially developed into a specialized mechanical manufacturing industrial park focused on construction machinery, transportation machinery, environmental protection equipment, cemented carbide processing, and fitness equipment. It has formed five major mechanical industry clusters led by leading enterprises such as Longgong Group, Longma Machinery, Weidong Environmental Protection, Jifeng Tungsten Steel, and Meijialong Fitness Equipment.
The park was established in 2001 and was approved as a provincial-level development zone by the provincial government in March 2006. Since its inception, the park has invested approximately 1.315 billion yuan in construction, developed 9.3 square kilometers of industrial land, and simultaneously improved various road networks as well as supporting infrastructure such as water, electricity, and telecommunications.To date, the park is home to 316 enterprises, of which 190 are in operation. In 2009, it achieved an industrial output value of 10.58 billion yuan, becoming the first among the city’s eight provincial-level industrial parks to surpass the 10-billion-yuan threshold and establishing itself as a new industrial zone in the northern part of Longyan’s central urban area.
In addition, the park has been honored with titles such as “Top Ten Brand Industrial Parks in the Haixi Region,” “National Top 100 Model Parks for Scientific Development,” and “China’s Top Ten Industrial Parks with the Best Investment Environment.” It is home to 13 national-level high-tech enterprises, 2 postdoctoral research stations, 1 China Famous Brand product, 2 China Well-Known Trademarks, 33 provincial-level famous brand products and well-known trademarks, and 20 enterprise technology centers at the municipal level or above.
