Park Overview
The Fujian Pingnan Industrial Park is a provincial-level development zone located in central Pingnan County, within the middle section of the Jiu Feng Mountains. The terrain consists primarily of low mountains, with an average elevation of 830 meters and gentle slopes. The climate is a subtropical maritime monsoon climate, characterized by abundant rainfall and distinct seasons, with mild winters and cool summers. The park extends east to Ditou Village, south to Gantang Village, west to Pingnan County Town, and north to Fenglin Village, covering a total area of 160 hectares.
The park comprises three industrial zones—Jitou, Xiping, and Xijiaoyang—and focuses on developing a sustainable, eco-friendly industrial economy, with a priority on constructing “two industrial clusters and one corridor.” The “two industrial clusters” are the Xiping Industrial Cluster and the Jitou Industrial Project Area, while the “one corridor” refers to the expressway corridor. This initiative holds significant importance for promoting the upgrading of Pingnan County’s industrial structure and transforming its development model.
Specifically, the Xiping Industrial Concentration Area covers a planned area of 1,000 mu and is dedicated to energy-intensive industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, casting, and processing. The Jitou Industrial Concentration Area is situated north of the Pingning Secondary Highway, 3 kilometers from Chengguan. Leveraging the secondary highway, it forms a corridor-style industrial concentration area that extends to the vicinity of Fenglin Village in Tangkou Township, with a long-term planned area of up to 10,000 mu.Construction on the first phase has already commenced, with 500 mu of land acquired to serve as an agricultural and sideline products processing zone and an electronics and electrical appliances cluster. This phase will focus on developing light processing industries that require minimal water usage and generate little pollution, thereby driving the northward expansion of the city.
