To the Bureaus of Industry, Information Technology, and Science and Technology of all counties (cities, districts), and the Economic Development Bureau of Longyan High-Tech Zone (Economic and Technological Development Zone):
In accordance with the requirements of the “Notice from the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology on Organizing Recommendations for 2024 National SME Specialized Industrial Clusters” (Min Gongxin Han Zhongxiao [2024] No. 212), the following matters regarding the recommendation of 2024 National SME Specialized Industrial Clusters are hereby notified as follows.
I. In accordance with the principle of voluntary application, the competent authority for small and medium-sized enterprises in the respective county (city, district) shall serve as the applicant. Please complete the “Application Form for Specialized Industrial Clusters of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” (Attachment 1) and submit the supporting materials required in the form to our bureau for preliminary review by June 14, 2024.
II. Cluster applications must be submitted in hard copy. The County (City, District) Bureau of Industry, Information Technology, and Science and Technology shall affix its official seal to the application materials. Submit four copies each of the “2024 Summary Table of Recommended SME Specialized Industrial Clusters” (Attachment 2) and the “SME Specialized Industrial Cluster Application Form” (1 original and 3 copies), along with one CD containing the electronic version, via EMS (Express Mail Service) to the Enterprise Division of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology.
III. Any application found to contain false information or to conceal illegal or non-compliant activities will be disqualified upon verification.
IV. The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology will review the application materials and conduct on-site spot checks. Based on compliance with the standards set forth in the "Interim Measures for Promoting the Development of Specialized Industrial Clusters of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" (MIIT Enterprise [2022] No. 119), the best candidates will be selected and recommended to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
