The Fumin Industrial Park is a key industrial park approved and implemented by the Kunming Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. It serves as the city’s titanium industry base and heavy chemical industry base within Kunming’s industrial layout plan. The Fumin Industrial Park is organized according to a “Three Zones and One Center” layout, with a planned controlled area of 10.22 square kilometers. These include the Beiying Titanium Industry Base, the Mailong Biological Resources Processing Zone, the Daying New Building Materials Industrial Zone, and the Kuinan Logistics Center.
Industrial Focus: The Fumin Industrial Park is committed to pursuing a path of new-style industrialization. It prioritizes the development of the titanium industry, focusing on titanium metal, sponge titanium, titanium alloys, and high-grade titanium dioxide products (including those for chemical fiber, pharmaceutical, and food applications); the bio-resource processing industry, centered on specialty agricultural products; and the building materials industry, centered on high-quality cement.
