On the afternoon of November 28, the signing ceremony for Great Wall Motor’s Linyi vehicle and parts production base project was held in Jinan. Once completed and operational, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of 20 billion yuan and attract more than a dozen supporting automotive enterprises to the area. This development holds significant importance for accelerating the growth of Linyi’s automotive industry cluster and promoting high-quality development.

It is worth noting that both of Great Wall Motor’s investments in Shandong (Rizhao and Linyi) were facilitated by Guichuan United.

In 2018, Guichuan United assisted Great Wall Motor in investing 15 billion yuan to establish a vehicle manufacturing base in the Rizhao Economic Development Zone, Shandong, with an annual output value of up to 36 billion yuan. It is worth noting that, leveraging Linyi’s existing mechanical workshops and production lines, the project is expected to roll out its first vehicle by May of next year. At the same time, the concentration of production capacity will attract more supporting enterprises to set up operations in the surrounding area, further reducing supply chain costs.

Great Wall Motor’s establishment in Linyi marks a significant step forward for the city in its automotive development journey. Leveraging the construction and development of this project, Linyi will build a high-quality automotive industrial cluster, driving industrial transformation and upgrading.
