2021 marks the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the beginning of the march toward the Second Centenary Goal, and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Tianjin is seizing this opportunity to embark on a new journey toward the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist metropolis.

To accelerate economic development and intensify efforts to attract investment, the Tianjin Municipal Key Projects Office, with the approval of Ma Shunqing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, will appoint a group of “Investment Promotion Ambassadors.”

On February 3, the Tianjin Municipal Development and Reform Commission organized a ceremony to appoint the first batch of “Investment Promotion Ambassadors” for the Tianjin Municipal Key Projects Office and held an investment promotion exchange symposium.

Zhang Jie, Head of the President’s Office at GuChuan United, was invited to attend the symposium and was appointed as an “Investment Promotion Ambassador” by the Tianjin Municipal Key Projects Office.

At the symposium, Wei Guangyong, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Municipal Development and Reform Commission, announced the decision to appoint Investment Promotion Ambassadors by the Tianjin Key Projects Office and presented the letters of appointment.

Wei Guangyong emphasized that the appointment of Investment Promotion Ambassadors represents a significant initiative in Tianjin’s innovative approach to attracting investment. As investment promotion efforts deepen, it is essential to fully expand investment attraction and focus on building a new pattern of open development. He expressed hope that entrepreneurs would work with Tianjin to foster effective and positive interaction, collaborate on investment promotion, and jointly facilitate the accelerated implementation of high-quality projects in Tianjin to advance the city’s high-quality development.

At the event , the nine entrepreneurs appointed as “Investment Promotion Ambassadors” shared insights on their companies’ development and their vision for growth in Tianjin, offering suggestions for the city’s high-quality development. Drawing on their companies’ specific operational contexts, they discussed their views and recommendations regarding Tianjin’s development—covering areas such as improving the business environment and strengthening government-enterprise communication—and expressed their commitment to contributing to Tianjin’s development to the best of their ability.

At the symposium, Zhang Jie stated that she felt deeply honored and cherished the opportunity to be invited to serve as an “Investment Promotion Ambassador,” while also recognizing the significant responsibility involved. She emphasized that it is Guichuan Lianhang’s duty to contribute to Tianjin’s investment promotion efforts.Moving forward, while continuing to expand, strengthen, and optimize its own operations , GuChuan United will persist in facilitating investment promotion for Tianjin.
