Recently , Zhaohua District of Guangyuan City and Guchuan United officially signed a cooperation agreement. The two parties will collaborate on commissioned investment promotion services to accelerate the implementation of projects. Guchuan United will adopt a new development philosophy to coordinate investment promotion efforts and, leveraging the China Western (Guangyuan) Green Home Furnishings Industrial Park, inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Zhaohua District.
Zhaohua District is Guangyuan’s eastern new city, situated at the geometric center of the four major cities of Chengdu, Xi’an, Chongqing, and Lanzhou. It is a vital component of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and serves as a key corridor connecting the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
In 2019, Zhaohua District was designated by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government as a key development county and is one of the primary regions in Sichuan Province designated for industrial development . In accordance with the principle of “one county, one main industry,” Guangyuan City has prioritized the green home furnishings industry as Zhaohua District’s leading sector. Today, Zhaohua District has become the main hub for the China Western (Guangyuan) Green Home Furnishings Industrial City and aims to develop a modern home furnishings industrial base in Western China by establishing a foothold in Sichuan, expanding nationwide, and connecting with the international market.
Listed as a key provincial project in Sichuan for two consecutive years, the China Western (Guangyuan) Green Home Furnishings Industrial City consistently upholds the development philosophy of “industry leadership, environmental sustainability, innovative smart manufacturing, and integrated industry-city development.” It is committed to transforming traditional furniture manufacturing into a modern, innovative smart home furnishings industry. Phase I of the Home Furnishings Industrial City covers a planned area of 27,000 mu, including 11,000 mu of industrial land. With an estimated total investment exceeding 20 billion yuan, the project is expected to attract more than 500 home furnishings enterprises upon completion, generating an output value of over 50 billion yuan. Boasting significant scale and agglomeration advantages, it ranks among the largest single-site home furnishings industrial parks in the country.
In recent years, following the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement on regional coordinated development between Chengdu and Guangyuan, Zhaohua District in Guangyuan City has seized the opportunity to attract the relocation of Chengdu’s home furnishings industry and develop a green home furnishings sector.Centered on the China Western (Guangyuan) Green Home Furnishings Industrial City, Zhaohua District adheres to the principles of “ecological priority, environmental protection, integrated industry and urban development, regional coordination, and innovative smart manufacturing.” By encouraging innovation and transformation and driving industrial upgrading, the district aims to gradually develop into a new growth pole for Guangyuan’s economy, a provincial demonstration base for the coordinated development of the home furnishings industry, and a national demonstration zone for the transformation and upgrading of the home furnishings industry.
In the future, Guchuan Lianxing will fully leverage the advantages of the “Internet+Investment Promotion” model and utilize its database of over 350,000 projects to strive to attract major projects with high industrial relevance and high output efficiency to Zhaohua District. This will accelerate the rapid development of the China Western (Guangyuan) Green Home Furnishings Industrial City and promote comprehensive growth and efficiency improvements in Zhaohua’s economic development.
