On July 28, the 2020 “Tianjin Enterprises Visit Gansu” event was successfully held in Tianshui City, Gansu Province. GuChuan United was invited to participate in the event, which was attended by more than 130 enterprises from Tianjin and Gansu. A total of 60 cooperation projects were signed, with a total value of over 20 billion yuan.The event aimed to strengthen industrial cooperation between Tianjin and Gansu, explore the establishment of long-term mechanisms, and promote the development of Tianjin-Gansu cooperation toward regular, high-level, and multi-sectoral collaboration.
Liu Yongfu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development; Lin Duo, Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress; and Yin Hejun, Deputy Secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, attended the event and delivered speeches. The symposium was chaired by Sun Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee.
At the meeting, relevant officials from Tianjin and Gansu respectively reported on the progress of East-West poverty alleviation cooperation. Representatives from Tianjin enterprises introduced their industrial poverty alleviation efforts, and a project signing ceremony was held, during which a total of 60 projects were signed across sectors including agricultural technology, advanced manufacturing, ecological conservation, commerce and logistics, headquarters economy, sharing economy, and consumption-based poverty alleviation.
Focusing on the economy means focusing on projects; focusing on projects means focusing on investment promotion. Since the launch of East-West cooperation, Guchuan Lianxing has grounded its efforts in the realities of Gansu Province, firmly prioritizing industrial poverty alleviation and industrial poverty eradication, and has signed investment promotion cooperation agreements with Huating City and Jingchuan County in Gansu Province.
Moving forward, Guchuan Lianhang will continue to deepen and advance investment promotion efforts in Gansu Province, thoroughly explore upstream and downstream industrial chains, and continuously introduce high-quality projects to Huating City. By expanding effective investment, the company aims to transform the advantages of openness into a competitive edge for high-quality development, creating a new hub for robust growth in the real economy, and contributing “Huating strength” and demonstrating “Huating responsibility” to the transition from old to new growth drivers.At the same time, closely aligning with Jingchuan County’s local development plans and functional layout, the company will precisely match and attract high-quality enterprises in sectors such as light textiles, building materials, and food production to settle there. This will help Jingchuan County fully leverage its regional functional role, expand industrial scale, and attract business investment.
In the future, Guchuan United will continue to leverage its “Internet Plus Investment Promotion” strengths, further strengthen its role as a bridge and link, and deepen integration in areas such as investment promotion training, on-site investment promotion, and targeted investment promotion around leading industries. We will focus more on Gansu, support Gansu, and join hands to win the battle against poverty.
At the same time, we hope that all districts and counties in Gansu Province will take the initiative to collaborate with Guchuan United to drive local industrial development. Guchuan United will fully leverage its resource advantages—including access to over 310,000 projects—to continuously expand the scope and broaden the fields of cooperation. We will promote the excellent resources, favorable policies, and conducive environments of Gansu’s districts and counties, helping the province attract more high-quality, large-scale, and innovative projects, and encouraging more business partners to visit Gansu for inspections, exchanges, and investment opportunities.
We are confident that through the close collaboration between Guchuan United and the various districts and counties of Gansu Province, and with the strong support of Tianjin Municipality and Gansu Province, the districts and counties of Gansu will certainly achieve poverty alleviation on schedule and realize a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Both parties will also deepen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as investment promotion and industrial upgrading, achieving complementary advantages and win-win development, and yielding greater results from this new starting point.
