Recently, Guichuan University was invited to conduct a specialized training session on investment promotion practices at the Industrial Park in Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province.Wang Xuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Xinhui District Industrial Park Management Committee; Liang Xiaojian, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau; Huang Fuyuan, Director of the General Office; and other leaders attended the training. Nearly 100 personnel from the local Investment Promotion Bureau, Planning and Construction Bureau, Emergency Management Bureau, and General Office participated in the session. Rong Yanping, Dean of Guchuan University, and Song Lingfei, Director of the Guchuan Industrial Research Institute, were also present.

The training curriculum was closely aligned with the practical needs of investment promotion in the Xinhui District Industrial Park. Tailored specifically for the participants, the content was highly targeted and practical, meeting current investment promotion requirements. It covered topics such as “Unveiling Project Evaluation Techniques,” “Etiquette for Project Site Visits and Hospitality,” “Etiquette Across the World: An Analysis of Business Etiquette,” and “How to Become a Master of Interpersonal Communication—Communication Based on Empathy,” providing a more scientific, systematic, and professional training experience.

The courses used projects as a focal point, addressing key pain points in investment promotion work. They guided participants on how to evaluate projects through a series of processes, including information gathering, screening, and follow-up. Additionally, the Dean of Guichuan University delivered substantial professional insights on the importance of business hospitality etiquette and interpersonal communication, helping participants better absorb and apply these concepts in their future work.

In recent years, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has accelerated its development, boasting a solid foundation in high-end manufacturing and a growing accumulation of positive factors such as innovation and talent. As a key node city within the Greater Bay Area, Jiangmen City is actively integrating into the region’s development, proactively seizing the opportunities presented by the major transformation of the regional development landscape, and is committed to building a new growth pole on the west bank of the Pearl River.

As the "new engine" of local development, the Xinhui District Industrial Park is a 10,000-mu (approximately 667 hectares) industrial park prioritized by Jiangmen City. It comprises three major 10,000-mu zones and four sub-areas, serving as a major industrial platform within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and benefiting from Guangdong Province’s preferential policies for industrial transfer parks. Xinhui District will mobilize all its resources to advance the park’s development, adhere to first-class standards, pioneer a new phase of industrial clustering, and leverage its role as an engine to propel Xinhui’s economic and social development to new heights.

As the nation’s first training institution with official accreditation for investment promotion, GuChuan University has distilled extensive practical experience from GuChuan Alliance’s 11-year history to develop hundreds of specialized courses.
