Recently, Guichuan University conducted its 1912th pre-employment training session for new hires. Following five days of intensive training, the 15 new employees gained a thorough understanding of the company’s operations, corporate culture, and policies. Ultimately, all of them passed the assessment with excellent results, officially becoming members of Guichuan United and taking their first step toward a career at the company.
Before the training officially began, the 15 new employees were divided into two groups. The instructor led everyone in an “icebreaker activity,” first encouraging self-introductions to help them get to know and become familiar with one another, thereby breaking the ice. Subsequently, members of both groups engaged in active discussions and in-depth exchanges, quickly establishing their own team cultures and presenting them to the group.The two teams were named the “Western Development Team” and the “Forge Ahead Team.” Throughout the subsequent training, the two teams engaged in healthy competition, encouraged one another, and made progress together.
To help new employees quickly master the professional knowledge and personal qualities essential for becoming an “investment promotion specialist,” Guichuan University invited a team of outstanding instructors to deliver detailed lectures on four core courses: “Guichuan Culture,” “Introduction to the Investment Promotion Industry,” “The Guichuan Workplace,” and “Professional Ethics.”
The “Guchuan Culture” course presented the company’s development history, corporate culture, and strategic planning. Through the instructors’ clear and accessible explanations, the new employees gained a deep appreciation for how, throughout Guchuan’s decade-long investment promotion journey, its people have consistently upheld the values of “Innovation, Execution, Setting an Example, and Mutual Progress.” Guided by the service philosophy of “Thinking for Businesses, Serving Businesses, and Working for Businesses,” Guchuan provides professional assistance to governments in attracting investment and supports enterprises in site selection.

In addition to instructor-led sessions, this training adopted a “collaborative learning” model. The two groups made full use of the materials provided by Guichuan University. After independent study and thorough group discussions, they compiled their learning insights into comprehensive reports and presented them in class.Subsequently, the instructor provided detailed feedback on the group’s collaborative outcomes and individual presentation performance. This learning model not only fostered teamwork among group members and enhanced their ability for independent innovation but also deepened their understanding of the company’s business operations, culture, systems, and industry-specific knowledge through in-depth study and analysis of the materials.
