A municipal-level industrial park established in 1992 with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal Government, it is located in the northern part of Jiading District, Shanghai. With a planned area of 52 square kilometers, it is the largest and most industrially concentrated industrial park in Jiading District. The park focuses on developing industries such as automotive parts, smart manufacturing, new materials, and biopharmaceuticals, and serves as a supporting base for the Shanghai International Automobile City. It is home to automotive industry chain enterprises including SAIC Volkswagen, NIO, Schaeffler, and Cosco.The park is traversed by the G15 Shenhai Expressway, G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, and the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, offering convenient transportation access.By 2025, the park aims to achieve a total industrial output value exceeding 160 billion yuan, with 380 high-tech enterprises, including 22 national-level "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" (SRUI) "Little Giant" enterprises. The park is equipped with supporting facilities such as Jiading New Town, talent apartments, top-tier hospitals, and international schools. It benefits from municipal-level subsidies for industrial technological upgrades, special support for talent recruitment, and collaborative policies for the Yangtze River Delta automotive industry.
