A municipal-level industrial park established in 1995 with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal Government, it is located in Shanyang Town, Jinshan District, with a planned area of 25 square kilometers. The park focuses on developing industries such as new materials, biopharmaceuticals, smart manufacturing, and green chemicals. It is home to leading enterprises including Shanghai Petrochemical, Keji Pharmaceutical, Hehui Optoelectronics, and Huayi Group.Direct access is available via the G15 Shenhai Expressway and the Jinshan Railway at “Jinshanwei Station.”By 2025, the park aims to achieve a total industrial output value of over 110 billion yuan, with the new materials industry cluster alone exceeding 42 billion yuan. The park is a National Demonstration Base for New Industrialization and is equipped with facilities such as talent apartments, a Grade III-A hospital, and technology business incubators in the Jinshan Industrial Zone.
