The Lijin Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level development zone approved by the Shandong Provincial Government. Located in Dongying City—the central city of the Yellow River Delta—it lies to the west of Lijin County and sits at the intersection of National Highways 205 and 220, the provincial trunk roads Binhang Road and Yongxin Road, the Bohai Rim Expressway, and the Huangdongda National Class I Railway. The zone has a planned area of 35 square kilometers, of which 10 square kilometers have been developed.
