The Jinan Comprehensive Bonded Zone was established on May 15, 2012, with the approval of the State Council (through the transformation and upgrading of the former Jinan Export Processing Zone), and successfully passed the joint inspection by ten national ministries and commissions on December 25, 2013.The zone has a total planned area of 5.22 square kilometers (with a fenced area of 2.02 square kilometers in Phase I) and features four core functions: bonded processing, bonded logistics, international trade, and port customs clearance. It is currently the special customs supervision zone in China with the highest level of openness, the most preferential policies, the most comprehensive functions, the most flexible operations, and the most convenient customs clearance procedures.
Located in the eastern part of Jinan city, the park is 320 kilometers from Qingdao Port, 18 kilometers from Jinan International Airport, and 20 kilometers from Jinan Railway Station. With three expressway interchanges to the southeast, northeast, and northwest, it is seamlessly connected to the Jinan-Qingdao, Jinan-Laizhou, and Beijing-Shanghai expressways, offering a unique geographical advantage of “connecting all directions and facilitating comprehensive exchange.”
