The Huimin Economic Development Zone was established in 2005 and was approved as a provincial-level economic development zone by the People’s Government of Shandong Province in March 2006.
After fifteen years of dedicated development, the Huimin Economic Development Zone has expanded from its original 15 square kilometers to its current “One Zone, Three Parks” layout, covering approximately 43 square
. The zone features comprehensive infrastructure, with all sites fully equipped with “nine utilities and one leveling” to meet the needs of various projects; it boasts a rational industrial structure, with solid foundations in high-end equipment manufacturing and high-end aluminum industries, distinct competitive advantages, and a comprehensive range of products; and it has ample raw material supplies, with current annual production capacities of 750,000 tons for primary aluminum and 2.86 million tons for steel casting.
