The Mingshui Economic and Technological Development Zone is a national-level economic and technological development zone established in October 2012 with the approval of the State Council. Located in Zhangqiu District, Jinan City, it is currently the only national-level economic and technological development zone in Jinan.
Building on Jinan’s strategic positioning as a national central city and Zhangqiu’s role as a key bridgehead for Jinan’s eastern expansion, the industrial park leverages its strengths in high-end equipment manufacturing. With a focus on vehicle and component manufacturing, and prioritizing new materials and new energy industries, the park is comprehensively advancing industrial clustering, supply chain integration, and synergistic development across sectors, striving to establish itself as a leading automotive manufacturing hub in Northeast Asia.
