Development Zone Introduction
The Shanghe Economic Development Zone in Shandong is a provincial-level development zone comprising the Urban Industrial Park and the Shangnan Industrial Park, with a total area of 24 square kilometers. Currently, we are planning to expand the development zone, with the planned area set to reach 30 square kilometers. The zone has achieved “eight utilities and one leveling,” and its production and living facilities are well-developed. The Urban Industrial Park is located in the new district south of the county seat, covering an area of 10 square kilometers, and focuses on attracting R&D-oriented and urban-type industrial enterprises. The Shangnan Industrial Park covers an area of 14 square kilometers, with plans to expand to 20 square kilometers, and focuses on attracting projects in smart manufacturing and high-end equipment, biopharmaceuticals, and advanced materials. The Urban Industrial Park and Shangnan Industrial Park have already constructed 445,200 square meters of standard factory buildings, which will reach 600,000 square meters by 2018. These standard factory buildings are available for lease or purchase, and can be subdivided and registered.
