The Yantai Fushan High-Tech Industrial Zone, located at the heart of Yantai’s master plan, is an integral part of the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Yantai High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. It is a science and technology industrial park approved by the state to be open to APEC members.The zone focuses on developing biopharmaceutical engineering, electronic information, automotive components, new materials, and mechatronics industries, while also encouraging the development of sectors such as machinery processing, fine chemicals, light industry and textiles, new building materials, and aquatic food products that align with national industrial policies.Since the zone’s establishment in October 1993, investors from the United States, Germany, Austria, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other countries and regions, as well as domestic enterprises, have established nearly 400 enterprises of various types within the zone. A total of 320 industrial enterprises have been completed and put into operation, including nine investment projects by Fortune 500 companies, with a total investment of 21 billion yuan.
