Park Overview
The Wudi Economic Development Zone in Shandong was established in 2002. In March 2006, it was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and designated as a provincial-level development zone by the People’s Government of Shandong Province. In the second half of 2009, the development zone streamlined its institutional mechanisms, refined its organizational structure, and strengthened its leadership and workforce. The development zone comprises two industrial parks: the County Town Industrial Park and the Xinhai Industrial Park.It is home to industries such as marine shell ceramics, wood processing, marine biopharmaceuticals, deep processing of agricultural by-products, energy-efficient appliances, high-end stainless steel products, fine chemicals, and biomass power generation. Wudi County is part of Binzhou City, Shandong Province. Located in the northernmost part of Shandong Province along the coast, it is a key area for the comprehensive development of the Yellow River Delta and a frontline base for the construction of “Maritime Shandong.”
