The Jinan Consolidation Center for the China-Europe Railway Express (Qilu Line) project covers a total area of approximately 98 mu, with a total floor area of about 60,000 square meters. It comprises seven buildings, including one office building and six warehouses, as well as supporting facilities such as a container yard. The project is dedicated to helping Jinan establish itself as a gateway for opening up to the outside world in the Yellow River Basin.The hub is planned as a comprehensive facility comprising five major functional zones: the China-Europe Railway Express Supply Chain Finance (Service) Center, the Import-Export Commodity Exhibition Center, the Cross-Border E-Commerce (International Postal) Consolidation Center, the Bonded Logistics Center, and the Railway Express Consolidation Operations Center.
It is reported that upon completion, the hub project will further leverage the strengths of the “Qilu Express,”continuously refine its overall layout and strengthen infrastructure, take new strides in integrated industrial development, enhance Jinan’s role as a cargo consolidation hub, and drive the integrated development of manufacturing, distribution and processing, trade, services, and finance. This will foster a freight train ecosystem led by the “Qilu Express” and lay a solid foundation for Jinan to expand its international logistics corridors and enhance the competitiveness and influence of its international land port.
