It will prioritize the development of projects in sectors including general aviation, automotive parts, and cross-border e-commerce, establishing a hub for key export-oriented projects. The zone is committed to becoming a modern comprehensive bonded zone that serves the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economy Zone and supports the national "Belt and Road" initiative.Comprehensive bonded zones are currently the highest-level customs special supervision zones in China, offering the most preferential policies, the most comprehensive functions, and the simplest procedures. They also represent the highest form of customs special supervision zones, integrating comprehensive functions such as international logistics, international trade, and procurement and distribution. After years of development, Shandong Province’s customs special supervision zones have played a significant role in expanding employment, promoting openness to the outside world, attracting foreign investment, and facilitating international industrial transfer.
