Park Overview
Qingdao Tian'an Digital City, located in Chengyang District, Qingdao, began construction in April 2012. It covers a total land area of 313,000 square meters and has a planned floor area of 656,000 square meters. As a key investment attraction project for Qingdao, the complex facilitates the relocation of high-tech industries from Qingdao and surrounding cities. To date, it has successfully attracted more than 390 technology companies, forming four major industrial sectors: smart manufacturing, healthcare, energy conservation and environmental protection, and modern services.
In December 2015, the establishment of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Qingdao served as a bridge to strengthen exchanges and interactions between Chinese and Korean enterprises. To date, the park has attracted over 80 Korean-funded enterprises, Korean institutions in Qingdao, and business associations, with nearly 1,000 management personnel from Korean companies.
In November 2019, the China-South Korea Cooperation and Exchange “International Living Room” project was established in the park. With a total floor area of approximately 200,000 square meters, it serves as a platform for industrial exchange and cooperation between China and South Korea, integrating exhibition, roadshows, trading, and services. The project focuses on attracting investment in four key sectors where South Korea holds a competitive advantage—next-generation electronic information technology, healthcare, precision smart manufacturing, and cultural creativity—aiming to create a model zone for local economic and trade cooperation between China and South Korea and a new industrial landmark.
