The park is a joint provincial-ministerial project between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the People’s Government of Shandong Province. Covering an area of 11,000 mu, it has a planned total investment of 50 billion yuan and a construction period of 15 years. With the enhancement of high-quality food supply capacity at its core and food technology innovation as its driving force, the park is committed to achieving three key integrations: traditional and emerging sectors, production and services, and industry and technology.Upon full completion, it will become a leading hub in northern China for the deep processing of agricultural and food products, scientific and technological innovation, and distinctive branding—a globally competitive “China (Dezhou) International Food Valley” characterized by first-class innovation capabilities, a comprehensive industrial chain, and strong radiating and driving forces. It will establish a new national landscape for agricultural and food innovation and industrial development, embodying the principle that “Shenzhen leads in the south, and Dezhou leads in the north.”
