Original Title: Notice from the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission on the Publication of the List of Future Industry Clusters in Shandong Province
To the Development and Reform Commissions of All Cities:

To accelerate the cultivation of new economic growth points and build new competitive advantages in future industries, based on prior municipal applications, expert reviews, and comprehensive evaluations, 15 clusters—including the Weifang Metaverse Industry Cluster—have been designated as provincial-level future industry clusters. The list is hereby published.

All cities must substantially increase support for future industry clusters, improve supporting policies and measures, attract and aggregate key resources such as technology, talent, and capital, continuously cultivate and strengthen leading enterprises, promote demonstration applications of typical scenarios, and further expand the development space for strategic emerging industries. The Provincial Development and Reform Commission will conduct assessments of the construction of industry clusters at appropriate times and provide active support to clusters with significant development achievements in areas such as innovation platform construction and key project reserves.
