The Shenfu New Area is situated between Shenyang and Fushun, on the Northeast Plain. It lies at the heart of the Shenyang Economic Zone, Liaoning Province, and Northeast Asia. It is 23 kilometers west of downtown Shenyang and 16 kilometers east of downtown Fushun. It is 20 kilometers from Shenyang Taoxian International Airport—the largest aviation hub in Northeast China—200 kilometers from Yingkou Port, 260 kilometers from Dandong Port, and 380 kilometers from Dalian Port.
