A provincial-level economic development zone located in Lishan District, Anshan City, it was established in 2006 and upgraded to a provincial-level economic development zone in 2012, with a planned area of approximately 25 square kilometers. Its leading industries include deep processing of steel, equipment manufacturing, new materials, and modern logistics.
Leveraging Ansteel Group, the zone has developed industrial chains in precision steel processing, specialty steel products, and metallurgical equipment. In 2024, it achieved a total industrial output value of 21 billion yuan, with 68 enterprises meeting the scale criteria.
The zone enjoys convenient transportation, being adjacent to the Shenyang-Dalian Expressway and the Ansteel Railway Branch Line, just a 15-minute drive from Anshan Station and 60 minutes from Taoxian Airport. The industrial layout primarily consists of a “Steel Deep Processing Industrial Park + Equipment Manufacturing Park + Logistics Park.”
In terms of infrastructure, 900,000 square meters of standardized factory space have been constructed, complete with transport routes for heavy equipment and centralized heating. Supporting services include an enterprise service center, talent apartments, and Lishan Hospital.
