The Chaoyang General Aviation Industrial Demonstration Zone is being developed on both sides of Chaoyang Airport, bounded by Wenming Road to the north, Fengming Street to the east, Sijiazizi Village to the south, and the Chaoyang-Qingdao Highway to the west. Following the principle of “overall planning and phased implementation,” the demonstration zone will be developed in three phases: the initial construction phase, the intermediate construction phase, and the long-term construction phase. Upon completion, it will cover an area of approximately 8 square kilometers.By 2030, the demonstration zone will be developed into a headquarters base for aviation service support serving the three northeastern provinces and eastern Inner Mongolia. It will attract and establish a number of leading domestic and international enterprises in general aviation training, maintenance, manufacturing, support services, sales, aviation tourism, leasing, and exhibitions. The general aviation industry is projected to generate an output value of 20 billion yuan, driving an additional 100 billion yuan in output value across related industries.
