A National Economic and Technological Development Zone established in 1993 with the approval of the State Council, it is located in Tiexi District, Shenyang, with a planned area of 288 square kilometers. It is the first “National Demonstration Base for New Industrialization” in Northeast China. The zone focuses on developing industries such as equipment manufacturing, automobiles and auto parts, smart manufacturing, and new materials. It is home to leading enterprises including BMW Brilliance, Sany Heavy Industry, TBEA, and North Heavy Industries.The park enjoys convenient transportation links, with the Shenyang-Dalian Expressway, the Beijing-Harbin High-Speed Railway, and Metro Line 1 running through it. By 2025, the park aims to achieve a total industrial output value exceeding 320 billion yuan, with the automotive industry cluster’s output value surpassing 160 billion yuan and smart manufacturing projects accounting for 40% of the total.The park features 15 national-level innovation platforms and 680 high-tech enterprises, including 36 national-level "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" (SRUI) "Little Giant" enterprises. Supporting facilities include the Sino-German Industrial Park, a comprehensive bonded zone, talent apartments, and a Grade III-A hospital. The park benefits from policy support as a National-Level Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Sino-German High-End Equipment Manufacturing Cooperation Zone, and the Northeast Revitalization Initiative.
