A National-Level Economic and Technological Development Zone, established in 2003 with the approval of the Jiangxi Provincial People’s Government and upgraded to a national-level zone in 2013, is located in Longnan City, Ganzhou. The zone covers a planned area of 50 square kilometers. It focuses on developing industries such as electronic information, new materials, modern light industry, and modern logistics, with the aim of building a demonstration zone for cooperation between Jiangxi and Guangdong. The zone is home to leading enterprises such as Zhidao Electronics, Lianmao Electronics, and Jiana Energy.The Daguang Expressway and the Ganzhou-Shenzhen High-Speed Railway traverse the park, which is approximately a two-hour drive from Shenzhen, offering significant geographical advantages. In 2024, the output value of the electronic information industry exceeded 50 billion yuan. Supporting facilities include the Longnan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, a bonded logistics center, talent apartments, and technology incubators. The park benefits from policy support as a National-Level Economic and Technological Development Zone, a Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Industrial Reception Base, and a Jiangxi Inland Open Economy Pilot Zone.
