Park Overview
The Ganxian Industrial Park in Jiangxi was established in 2001 and was designated as a provincial-level industrial park by the Jiangxi Provincial Government in March 2006. The park primarily consists of the Hongjin District, Yangtang District, Chutan Industrial Subzone, and Jiangkou Industrial Subzone, with a planned area of 8,000 mu and a completed construction area of 4,800 mu.
Among these, the Hongjin District is located on the eastern outskirts of the county seat. It spans the “Beijing-Kowloon” and “Ganlong” railways to the north, borders the Gong River to the south, and is traversed east-west by National Highway 323, offering convenient transportation access. The Yangtang District is situated in Yangtang Village, Maodian Town, on the eastern outskirts of the county seat, 4 kilometers from the Hongjin District. It was developed through investment promotion and renovation of the former site of the Jiangxi No. 3 Sugar Factory.
In terms of industrial positioning, the park prioritizes the deep processing of mineral products such as rare earth, tungsten, and cobalt, as well as food processing, modern light textile and chemical industries, new building materials, and high-tech electronic information industries. As of April 2008, the park had attracted a total of 96 enterprises, with cumulative investment reaching 15.2 billion yuan. In 2007, enterprises within the park generated 4.9 billion yuan in main business revenue, contributed 260 million yuan in tax revenue, and provided employment for over 12,000 people.
