Park Overview
The Nanchang Changnan Industrial Park strives to become a hub for the industrial relocation from developed regions both domestically and internationally, a processing base for supporting products of large and medium-sized enterprises, a center for the commercialization of scientific research achievements, and an entrepreneurial base for private enterprises.
Established in October 2001 with the approval of the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the Nanchang Changnan Industrial Park has an initial planned area of 2.0 square kilometers and is positioned as an urban labor-intensive industrial processing zone. The park boasts convenient transportation and a prominent geographical location, with well-developed infrastructure. A road network comprising five north-south and seven east-west arteries has been largely completed, and a strict rainwater-sewage separation system is in place. Underground utility lines for water, electricity, and telecommunications have been fully installed alongside the roads. The Baojia Garden Cultural Square, the largest square in southern Nanchang covering an area of 80,000 square meters, is also located within the park.
As of September 2023, the park is home to more than 5,000 enterprises, including over 500 large-scale enterprises. Among these are 19 enterprises invested in by Fortune Global 500 companies and 27 by China’s Top 500 enterprises. Its leading industries include electronic information, new energy vehicles and auto parts, pharmaceuticals, and smart manufacturing.
