Established in 2003, the Nanjing Jiangning Riverside Economic Development Zone covers a planned area of 62 square kilometers and is located 25 kilometers southwest of downtown Nanjing.Currently, the park has attracted more than 400 enterprises and focuses on developing key industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, and information and communications technology. It has attracted high-end equipment manufacturers such as Nanjing Baose Co., Ltd., XCMG Kaigong Heavy Industry, and Marpos Automation; new energy vehicle companies including Nanjing Jingneng New Energy Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Shanghai Kanai New Energy Co., Ltd., and Nanjing Yuebo Power System Co., Ltd.; as well as leading enterprises in mobile communications and smart grids such as ZTE,Fenghuo Technology, the Southern Branch of the State Grid Customer Service Center, and Huanyu Group—leading enterprises in mobile communications and smart grids. In terms of supporting facilities, the park plans to construct the Deji Hotel and Deji City Outlet Mall, while prioritizing the development of public urban amenities such as the Suzhou Foreign Language School Binjiang Branch, the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital Binjiang Branch, and the Greenland Community Center.
