Park Overview
The Danyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Jiangsu Province is located directly south of downtown Danyang and has been a key high-tech park developed by the city in recent years. The development zone enjoys an advantageous location at the heart of the Yangtze River Delta, a world-class urban agglomeration. Its planned jurisdiction covers “one zone and four parks,” totaling 175.85 square kilometers. The zone features a distinct industrial profile, having established an industrial system dominated by new materials, advanced medical devices and biopharmaceuticals, high-end equipment manufacturing, and modern services.
Over the past three years, with the care and support of the municipal and county-level Party committees and governments of Zhenjiang andDanyang municipal governments, the High-Tech Zone has prioritized three key areas—"comprehensive planning, substantial investment, and extensive clustering." It has gradually evolved into a hub for high-tech industries, a center for R&D and innovation incubation, and a model zone for integrated urban-industrial development in Danyang. In May 2016, it received approval from the provincial government and was officially upgraded to the Jiangsu Danyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, thereby qualifying for the current provincial policies applicable to high-tech industrial development zones.
