The Hailing Industrial Park in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, was established in April 2003. In April 2006, following approval by the provincial government and review by the National Development and Reform Commission and other relevant ministries and commissions, it was upgraded to a provincial-level economic development zone.
It currently covers a total administrative area of 36.94 square kilometers, comprising 13 administrative villages and one community residents’ committee, with a total population of over 50,000.
In recent years, the Hailing Industrial Park has focused on its development positioning as an “industrial base” and “urban district,” emphasizing industrial transformation and upgrading as well as industrial clustering. While consolidating and enhancing traditional industries such as mechanical and electrical support services, specialized machine tool processing, and building materials, the park has accelerated the development of sectors including “electronics, electrical appliances, and electric motors.”
