The Haian High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Jiangsu Province is the largest of Nantong’s 17 provincial-level or higher development zones and high-tech zones. Its economic development has long ranked among the top in science and technology development zones, and in 2019, it ranked second in Nantong’s evaluation of high-quality development zones.
The park is currently home to more than 1,900 industrial enterprises, including over 130 with annual revenues exceeding 100 million yuan, 20 with annual revenues exceeding 1 billion yuan, and 2 with annual revenues exceeding 10 billion yuan. It also hosts 2 companies listed on the main board and 10 listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ). Among foreign-invested enterprises, Taiwanese companies are particularly concentrated, while there are more than 10 enterprises from Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea.
