Located in the northern part of Jingjiang, the North City Park is an integral part of the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, a national-level development zone. Established in 2004, it has a total planned area of 22.59 square kilometers and an administrative area of 17.32 square kilometers.It has been successively recognized as a National-Level SME Entrepreneurship Base, a National-Level Science and Technology Enterprise Incubator, a Provincial-Level High-Tech Entrepreneurship Service Base, a Provincial-Level Mass Innovation Community, a Provincial-Level Science and Technology Enterprise Accelerator, and a Tsinghua University Industry-Academia-Research Base.The park is currently home to more than 1,500 enterprises, including 151 industrial enterprises above designated size, 95 high-tech enterprises, 2 national-level “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” (SEDi) “Little Giant” enterprises, and 25 provincial-level SEDi SMEs.In 2024, the park achieved a total industrial output value of 15.957 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.6%. Focusing on the development of its “Four Major Industrial Bases”—new electronic materials, automotive components, HVAC, and electric motors and appliances—the park is pursuing the goal of reaching “40 billion yuan in five years” and achieving provincial-level high-tech zone status.
